I just finished building this mixed media assemblage sculpture and it's titled: Send Me a Sign13"x26"x3.5"
It was created with a lot of different parts, I used a lot of transparencies, old paper, made a mold for the crows head, old telephone parts, circut boards,metal, wood, collage. The words inscribed are:
This mornings song enveloping us at first light is shattered by a muder of crows a reminder of the darkness lingering at the edge of dawn.
The idea behind this one is to be attuned to moments on the threshold between our dream state and wakefulness. I believe it's a juncture where information, that we can use creatively, congregates. If we are able decipher or interpret what it is that we glimpse in those brief moments we can give it a voice.
